Introduction:

Brink of Tomorrow, will be an innovative text-based role play in which the players will begin as a completely ordinary human character who live on the current day planet Earth. Events and circumstances will unfold that lead to certain rumors surfacing and players will be pulled out of their every day lives and thrust into world that was seemingly hidden beneath everyday society. Very little will be revealed at the opening of the scenes as no body truly knows what is going on behind the curtains, players will slowly discover through their character a world hidden beneath and away from the masses of the world. Elements of many genres, such as sci-fi and fantasy, will play their part in this adventure.

Rules:
1. This game will be conducted in a similar manner to tabletop role playing games, meaning that players play ONLY their character and the environment feedback is provided by the Dungeon Master/Storyteller etc. Power playing will not be tolerated.

2. Do not act out of character or use knowledge from outside of the game while playing your character. Doing so will lead to very bad things happening to your player, first with a warning and increasing in severity.

3. This game may have mature themes, so if you are young or sensitive to dark themes this may not be the game for you.

4. There will be some form of alignment based system that your actions and interactions with other players and even NPCs will affect in the long term how certain events play out and how certain aspects may develop along the way. Players won't know specifically the details but certain hints/clues will be posted as best as possible without giving away too much information.

5. Players must treat each other respectfully, even if their characters don't get along. Abuse of any player or of the organizer will be met with immediate dismissal from the game.

6. Have fun, play nice, and ask [Project Elysium] or any other player if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions.
